Terms of service

1. Who we are

OfficeWarden is provided by Avensiq Ventures ("we", "us"). These terms cover the OfficeWarden website, the customer dashboard and the OfficeWarden Windows app (together, "the service").

2. Your account

The person who signs up creates an office account and is responsible for it and for anyone they give access to. Keep your password and your office's licence key private; anyone with the key can add a PC to your office.

3. The free trial

New offices get 14 days with every feature. No payment details are taken during the trial. When it ends, PCs stop syncing to the website until a plan is chosen.

4. Plans and payment

The service is charged per PC per month at the price shown on the pricing page when you subscribe, with a minimum number of PCs. Charges are made monthly in advance. We give at least 30 days' notice of any price change.

5. Installing the app

You may install the app only on computers your organisation owns or is entitled to manage, and you are responsible for telling the people who use those computers that it is installed. The app shows a tray icon so people can see it is running.

6. Automatic fixes

The app makes small, routine changes to keep PCs healthy, listed on the website and in the app. Each can be switched off. We take care to make them safe, but you remain responsible for keeping backups of your data.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to monitor people, to break the law, or to try to get into other customers' data or our systems.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service running at all times but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We may improve or change features; we will not remove a core feature you pay for without notice.

9. Ending the service

You can cancel at any time; the service runs until the end of the month already paid for. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or is not paid for. After cancellation your office's data is deleted within 90 days.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. We are not liable for indirect losses, or for data that was not backed up.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of [city] have jurisdiction.
